Duccio - The Dark Side Of Ta$$oni

Duccio - The Dark Side Of Ta$$oni [ARCHIVE.ORG]

It's all about "instrumental-psych-hip-hop-beat & affini".

...e come al solito, no tracklist bitchez!

Biga - 2 Sessioni Fuori, Una in Casa e Qualcosa da Chiederti... [ARCHIVE.ORG]

Have a narghilè!

Duccio - Tassoni Overdose Vol. 2 [ARCHIVE.ORG]

Tommy

After a flow of crazy positive feedback for Vol. 1, Duccio has once again dug in the crates for the second installation of the Tassoni Overdose series. This time, Tassoni Overdose Vol. 2 is dedicated to "made in Italy," featuring Funk, Soul, Beat, Bossa-Scat, and Disco sounds from both celebrated and unsung artists born into "la dolce vita," as well as a selection of international artists getting it in with their best Italian (but, who are we to judge?!).

For those who insist that there is no great music or high quality artists coming out of Italy, Vol. 2 will give the haters a very solid reason to reconsider such a limited idea. Summer's here mothafuckas - so uncork the beloved Cedrata and enjoy the mix.

Duccio - Tassoni Overdose Vol.1 [ARCHIVE.ORG]

Tommy

The effects of a refreshing summer beverage, consumed in eccesive quantities, strikes once again - violently upon the vitals of the common man... and hardest on the selections of a DJ. Introducing the Tassoni Overdose series, Vol. 1 is Duccio's most recent compilation: mixed in-house, each selection personally digitized from his (vast) vinyl collection. To be sure, this kind of patience and dedication is delivered only through ingesting obscene amounts of Italy's most curious drink, Cedrata Tassoni (for inquisitive minds, more on that here).

Back to the music: psychedelic at the core, fuzzy guitars, disorienting wails, hallucinogenic moods, warped sounds, roaring vocals, trippy drumlines and transient folk melodies devolve into tropical heat, a sense of confusion, symptoms of dry mouth and other physical ailments... but don't worry, that soon will pass. :)

Yes, the voyage will be long, yet breezy. Ranging from all corners of the globe. But please, don't get stuck just packing your bags... uncork the beloved Tassoni and get fuckin' trippy!
